Minimum car insurance in Delaware
25/50/10

This is the least coverage the law requires. It often isn’t enough to pay for a serious accident, and anything above your limits can come out of your own pocket.

PIP is required, but Delaware does not limit lawsuits (add-on state). UM/UIM can be rejected in writing on the insurer's form.

If you can’t find home insurance in Delaware

These state-established programs cover homes that private insurers won’t. They’re meant as a last resort: coverage is often more limited and can cost more, so shop the private market and ask an agent first. Eligibility rules vary.
