Minimum car insurance in Oregon
25/50/20
This is the least coverage the law requires. It often isn’t enough to pay for a serious accident, and anything above your limits can come out of your own pocket.
- Bodily injury liability, per person
- $25,000
- Bodily injury liability, per accident
- $50,000
- Property damage liability
- $20,000
- Personal injury protection (PIP)
- PIP: $15,000 medical, 70% of lost income up to $3,000/mo, $5,000 funeral
- Uninsured motorist coverage
- Required
UM must equal BI limits unless you elect lower in writing, but not below 25/50.
